Two years ago we shared about developing the Next Generation of Global Leaders. Many of those 21 leaders from 13 countries are now leading the ministry in their home country or building solid partnerships with local ministries and denominations. They view the 2-year leadership program we conducted as instrumental in their advancement as an individual and as a servant leader within the ministry.
Last month we started the program with another 21 global leaders from 14 countries. We have several of those who went through the program previously now helping to mentor those who are going through the program. This continuing involvement is key to building a culture within the organization of ongoing leadership development. The desire is to have younger generations of leaders identified early and guided by those who have gained wisdom in leadership through experience.
